Grenada Trip May 2009
We believe that God loves all the world (John 3:16) and has called us to share the Good News with all people (Matthew 28:18-20). Because of this, our church is involved in supporting missionary efforts and other evangelistic endeavours around the world. In all 50% of our giving in the church is used in missionary work.
We have supported works in India, the Solomon Islands, the Philippines, and the USA. Additionally some of our members have made overseas missions trips to teach, preach, or work in physical labours.
In 2008, two of our members traveled to the Philippines to work. In March 2009, our evangelist, Jim Newman taught at the International Christian College of Manila and spoke at the graduation. ICCM trains ministers for the churches of the Philippines and across Asia. Ross and Cheryl Wissmann direct the work of ICCM.
In 2011, Jim and Becky Newman plan to travel to Grenada, West Indies to teach in the church where they served as missionaries from 1986-1998.
